Really good quality paint finish. Very easy to assemble even with my limited diy skills. Next photo showed footboard with centre slat and two ugly screws showing but when assembled my small double had a footboard in one piece and bolts hidden on inside below mattress. The bed is very sturdy because there is a centre metal support with two metal legs but there is still room to put storage boxes underneath. Looks perfect in my seaside theme bedroom.
